Pastor's Pen
From the desk of
Pastor Paul
I believe this is a changing season—not only physically, with the beautiful fall colors painting the landscape—but also a changing season spiritually. Just as the leaves turn and the air has a fresh briskness, there is a sense that God is bringing transition, renewal, and preparation to His people. The natural world is preaching a sermon right now: things that once flourished in one season must be released in order to make room for what God is preparing in the next.
Fall reminds us that change is not something to fear, but something to embrace. The trees don’t struggle to hold on to what was—they let go so they can rest, reset, and be ready for new life. In the same way, the Holy Spirit is inviting us to release what no longer aligns with where He is taking us. There is a holy shifting, a divine rearranging, and a calling to step into a deeper place of trust and intimacy with God. He is introducing us to our deeper selves; he is introducing us to find rest in the waiting and restoration in the releasing of our old ways.
Excited to see you this weekend.
