Our tradition is to have communion the first weekend of each month and will no doubt continue that way in the future. However, this coming weekend will be the fifth weekend in a row that we will come to the Lord’s Table as the Lord seems to be wanting to teach us some new meanings and depth to His meal particularly out of our new identity we are learning about in Ephesians 1.

Of course, communion is about remembering what the Lord has done for us. It is so easy for us to remember disappointments, seeming unanswered prayer, and things that didn’t go as planned, of course, the devil loves to exploit those remembrances in our minds. Communion is thanking and remembering the thing that went really right in our lives, Jesus died for us and we became adopted into His family. So, when we receive communion, we are giving testimony of remembrance.

When we hold the bread and the cup in our hands - it is the moment of confession and declaration that God is our sufficiency. So, the bread and the cup are a tool of blessing, and strength and we are holding in our hands the symbol that God is everything we could ever need both now and forever more. He is our provision.

Can’t wait to have this meal with this family I dearly love.

The Last 100 Days—The Time is Now!

GRACE RACE REPORT

The miracles keep piling up! Our second annual Grace Race was a huge success. We had 88 participants compared with 48 a year ago. Thanks to Stephan Charles and Jaime Heying and their team who made for a successful event. Financial registrations created $3,908 of revenue but individuals who asked for sponsorships raised $5,080. So the race raised nearly $9,000. The GRACE FAMILY is amazing!

Report from the "Use Your Influence" letters

We wanted to give an update from the “Use Your Influence” evening of letter writing even though responses are still coming in. To date, 47 letters have had responses. We have had responses from New York, Louisiana, Texas, many other states and from neighbors in Buffalo. These responses have brought in nearly $6,000.

Here is what is amazing, another individual offered to match a square foot ($200) for each letter that received a response. (So far that is 47 multiplied at $200)
