Common Questions
Useful Information
Explore answers to common questions about Grace Fellowship here. While we've covered many FAQs below, if you have any lingering queries, don't hesitate to reach out. Our team is here to provide assistance and support in any way we can.

What is your worship like?
We believe that worshipping God is the main event and one of the primary reasons we gather. We tend to be blended and upbeat in style with a few hymn but mostly we sing music that lifts our hearts to praise and worship God. We love worship that stirs the soul.
How should I dress?
Come as you are. Some ladies wear dresses, but most wear slacks or jeans. Seldom do any of the men wear ties, but either dress pants or comfortable jeans. We are too casual to worry about how anyone dresses.
Can I get prayer?
Absolutely, someone is available after each service to pray. Should you desire to give your heart to the Lord, someone is available to help and explain that. If you would like someone to pray and agree with you about something let us know.
Is there pressure to give?
At Grace, we believe giving is a personal act of worship guided by the Holy Spirit. We never pressure anyone to give and do not take up an official offering. If you feel led to give, you can do so in person by placing your gift in the box on the wall by the doors, mail it to the church office, or give online through our Give page. We are thankful for God's provisions and trust Him to provide.

How do you celebrate communion?
The Lord’s Supper is a memorial of the covenant made with God through the blood of Christ. It is a continuation of the Passover Feast, which God commanded His covenant people to observe. Those who have made a covenant with God through the blood of Christ are instructed to participate. (Exodus 11, 12; Mark 14:24; Luke 22:19-20; I Corinthians 10:16, 11:23-26). We practice an open communion at Grace Fellowship, so everyone is welcomed to participate. Our only caution is that communion be approached with humility and prayer as the Bible teaches. We typically serve communion the first weekend of each month and do not serve it the same way each time, because receiving communion should be a reminder of God’s love, not a religious tradition.

Who makes the decisions?
At Grace Fellowship, decisions are made with careful consideration and spiritual guidance. Our leadership structure is rooted in the biblical model outlined in Acts 20:28 and I Peter 5:1-4, where the government of the church is vested in the Lead Pastor and the Elders, who have been appointed as overseers by the Holy Spirit. The Elder Team, consisting of these appointed leaders, holds ecclesiastical power and authority within our church community. In addition to our local leadership, we recognize the importance of external accountability and support. Therefore, we have established an Independent Advisory Team composed of at least three respected spiritual leaders from outside the Grace Fellowship family. These advisors provide apostolic guidance and accountability to ensure that our decisions align with biblical principles and serve the best interests of our congregation. At Grace Fellowship, decisions are made prayerfully, with wisdom, and with the utmost consideration for the well-being of our church community.
What about membership?
At Grace Fellowship, we approach church membership differently. We believe that when you begin to attend Grace Fellowship, it's because God has led you here, and we consider this community to be your church home. Instead of using the term "church membership," we emphasize the importance of walking together in unity and fellowship. We operate on a non-voting fellowship basis, recognizing that every individual is at a different stage of spiritual growth. Walking in fellowship at Grace Fellowship means: Demonstrating evidence of saving faith in Jesus Christ. Voluntarily aligning with our Statement of Faith. Displaying a willingness to contribute regularly to the support of the church through tithes and offerings. Regularly attending services. Participating in a one-hour class to understand more about Grace Fellowship's function, beliefs, history, and purpose, as well as exploring opportunities to serve within and outside the church community. We view those walking in fellowship as part of a family rather than simply members of an organization. It is God who calls us into His family and Jesus who calls us to various local churches to fulfill our part in His mission. Our prayer for everyone walking in fellowship with Grace Fellowship is that together we would witness God's power to heal, restore relationships, and be empowered to fulfill God's purpose for our lives. Benefits of walking in fellowship include opportunities for ministry, deepening friendships, experiencing the presence of God in worship, and consideration for volunteer positions within the church. However, we also recognize limitations. Individuals who are deemed divisive or who violate biblical morality may be asked to step away from involvement at Grace Fellowship until healing and repentance have occurred, always with the aim of promoting restoration and unity within the Body of Christ. At Grace Fellowship, we believe in walking together in fellowship, supporting one another as we seek to fulfill the mission God has given us as a local church community.
