Pastors Pen
Every season of life teaches us something new about God and about ourselves.
We come into this world dependent on our mother, father and most of us will leave this world dependent on our children and others. Life is strange that way.
What if every circumstance that comes into our lives is primarily about us discovering God wants to be for us? If we grumble and complain through every adverse circumstance, we will miss seeing Who God is for us. Graham Cooke says, “Unless we put the relational transformation before our desire for situational change, we will not develop our inner man beyond the simple yearnings of the soul.” Every situation, circumstance, and season of life provides us with an opportunity to discover God in a new and deeper way.
God is for us and when we grumble and complain at the season or station we are in we will miss Who He is seeking to be in our lives. When we miss the main purpose of what He is showing us we will have to repeat the training, which I am confident is why some people find themselves in perpetual trouble.
So step into this time, this season, and declare to yourself, to God and others, “I want to squeeze out all that God has for me in this moment.”
Excited to share the Word with you this weekend.
