We just wrapped up an update with Trevor and the Van Ewing team, our contractor. Thankfully, the weather has been cooperating, and today the stem wall and foundation walls on the north and east sides were poured.
Here’s some really good news: Croell Concrete opened the Buffalo plant just for this pour. Otherwise, they’re shut down for the winter, and the concrete would’ve had to be trucked in from Sheridan.

We’re also scheduled to finally get power to the property—and new power to our neighbors—sometime between February 5 and 12.
The underground drainage system under the future parking lot is well underway. God has provided the dirt from the gift property on West Fort Street, and the unusable dirt from the Cemetery Creek property is being used to fill in ravines on the north end of that property. Isn’t it amazing how God knew exactly what we needed before we did?
Lord willing, the structure will start going skyward in about two months. When that time comes, we’ll invite the people of Grace to help us start dreaming and brainstorming names for different parts of the building and campus.
