Build Update: A Dirt-Moving Miracle

God has a way of preparing the future long before we ever see it.

The Lord gave Grace Fellowship property on the west end of Fort Street. In that gift, God didn’t just provide land, He visited our future.

Long before the property was given to us, and before we fully understood the vision of what God would do at Cemetery Creek, God already knew what we would need. And one of those needs was simple, but significant: dirt.

To prepare the Fort Street property for commercial use, large amounts of dirt needed to be moved. At the same time, our Cemetery Creek site needed dirt to fill ravines and prepare the ground for building. What looked like two separate challenges turned out to be one clear provision.

God knew.

Four years ago, during soil testing, Matthew Schlichting prayed,

“Lord, just filter the dirt through Your hands.”

At the time, no one could have known how prophetic that prayer would be.

Some of the dirt at Cemetery Creek doesn’t compact well, making it unsuitable for building. That dirt is now being moved to the Fort Street property, where it’s being used to fill ravines. Meanwhile, the good soil and topsoil from the Fort Street property are being brought to Cemetery Creek, exactly where they are needed most.

What seemed like an obstacle became a solution. What felt like delay revealed divine timing.

God is so good.

He knows what we need before we even know we need it. He has provided every step of the way so far, and we trust that He will continue to provide all the way through.

This is more than a construction update, it’s a reminder that when God builds, He prepares the ground first.
