As part of the Kingdom, Jesus said He has given us authority to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you (see Luke 10:19). He has not only given you the power to overcome the enemy but also the power to overcome discouragement, defeat, and disappointment. God has given us everything we need to have Kingdom-overcoming power in our lives.

I love the story of a conversation between Charlton Heston and Cecil B. DeMille during the filming of Ben-Hur. Heston was having trouble learning to drive a chariot — after all, his high school did not offer Chariot Driver’s Ed! With much practice, he was finally able to control the chariot, but he still had some doubts. He reportedly expressed his concerns to the director, Cecil B. DeMille, saying, “I think I can drive the chariot, but I’m not sure I can win the race.” DeMille responded, “You just stay in the race, and I’ll make sure you win.”

This reminds me of Jesus, who said, "In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Through Christ, we have the power to overcome. And like DeMille, Jesus seems to be saying, “You stay faithful, and I’ll make sure you win.”

When Jesus is the King of your life, He will see to it that you win!

Excited to teach the Word this weekend.

We are pleased to announce that Matt and April Crider will be leading Family Night for Adults, offering a variety of topics and plenty of interaction. Marietta Wright will kick off the sessions on September 11 and 18. This promises to be a great opportunity for spiritual growth.

Flashpoint Youth-Middle & High School students will be led by Stephanie and will meet in the large gym @ Bomber Mtn.

Kindle Kids- Infants-5th grade will be learning about the Old Testament story of Joseph with Ms. Sandy, Ms. Kerri, and Mr. B and will meet at Grace Fellowship.

We are in the process of developing a van ministry to pick up kids for Family Night. We are in need of volunteer drivers and adult co-pilots. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Scott Berglund @ 307-887-3330.

Equip 2024 But the church prayed

Equip 2024 - "But the Church Prayed"

Get a Head Start:

One of the seminars this year is "Destined for the Throne'" based on the book by the same name written by Paul Billhiemer. It would be helpful to have read the book prior to taking the class. Pastor Paul says, "Destined for the Throne" is one of the most influential books in his life.

If you want to get a head start on Equip, we have loaner books at the Information Table in the foyer. Leave your name to check it out, read it, and bring it back no later than one month.

Building Update:

The electrical system has been assessed and recalculated for the new campus. We can have an 800 AMP service, which will be sufficient to power the property from the existing pole. We are hopefully five weeks away from receiving a new estimate. If everything aligns, there's still a possibility of starting excavation in October, depending on the weather.

Our present cash balance toward building is $3,158,843.14
