Hebrews 3:13

But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

Hebrews 10:24-25

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Our calling is that every time we meet - every time we come to the Body of Christ, look around and see who God wants you to encourage. So often we are consumers, instead of encouragers. As consumers, we will always find something or someone to criticize. As encouragers, we will always find someone who needs encouragement (that would be everybody).

We live in a world that discourages. Often individuals tear others down, thinking that is the means to build themselves up; but that never works. The wear and tear of life pokes at us sending the courage and strength straight out of our lives like a popped balloon. The people around us crave an encouraging word. People who focus on finding the positives in others and speaking courage to them (encouragement) not only, help others feel better, they feel better themselves. Encouragement is oxygen to the soul! Who can you encourage today?

WHAT'S HAPPENING!

We will meet September 23 at both BHS and CCMS at 7am to join other students around the nation.

We could again use your help with breakfast. If you would like to donate eggs, sausage, ham or bacon please let Stephanie Berglund (307-887-5208) know. We need those by Sept 18.

Also, if you would like to donate money to help with breakfast, that can be dropped off at the church or send Stephanie a message if you would like to Venmo it.
