Building Update
Bids from the subcontractors are due this week.
All of Grace is anxiously awaiting the moving of dirt on the property.
Funds continue to come in from "using our influence"
In the process of raising funds for the building, let's not forget our tithes. The fund that keeps the lights on has slipped in the last few months by $40K.
We have a group very interested in purchasing the present Grace Building. They are willing to wait until our new building is finished.
Join our One Miracle at a Time, One Square Foot at a Time campaign by filling out a pledge card.
Don't forget to track our progress on the square footage grid in the foyer at Grace.

As Christ followers, disciples. The core work of a disciple is to be like the Master. Romans 8:29 says He chose us to be like His Son. So, for me to be like Jesus I need to start walking according to who I am in Him. I like what Francis Frangipane said, “as each of us matures, we must stop thinking of ourselves merely as ‘church people’ and more as a society of redeemers. For that is what we become as we are conformed to the heart of Jesus.”
Philippians 2:5 (NKJV) “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” I like the way the ESV translates it, “Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.” When we have the mind of Christ, we will not view life with the graceless mind of a faultfinder, but with the gracious and compassionate mind of the Savior. This changes the way we see Him, we see others and we see ourselves. Here is a great prayer for today: Holy Spirit help me to learn to start thinking more like Jesus.
God did amazing things around our altar this last weekend, come expecting more as we step into taking hold of what He has taken hold of for us.
