Bringing You the Latest Buzz from Grace Fellowship

Pastor's Pen
Paul said to the Christians at Philippi, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” The Lord has been speaking to me personally about some anxiousness in my own life recently. It is not that there is nothing to be anxious about; it is just that anxiousness is not to control us.
Anxiousness is an epidemic—in our jobs, our finances, our schools, our kids, and even in our churches. Yet Paul said, “Do not be anxious about anything.” Take some time to read Philippians 4:4-9 where Paul provides us with the pathway to overcome anxiousness!
On what authority was Paul telling the Christians in Philippi and in Buffalo not to be anxious? His authority was that he had mastered his own anxiousness and wrote these words from a Roman prison cell, not knowing what tomorrow might bring. This guy, Paul, who was locked up physically, is helping Christians get unlocked emotionally.
I can’t wait—no, I really can’t wait—to share with you this series of talks, “He Will See You Through,” starting this weekend.

Remembering God's Blessing,
Just two years ago, in December 2022, Grace was blessed with an incredible opportunity: a $400,000 matching grant. The challenge was clear—if Grace could raise $400,000 within the month, a generous foundation would match the amount, turning it into $800,000 by December 31, 2022. When the dust settled, God worked through the generosity of Grace's supporters to raise an astonishing $413,000 in just 30 days, bringing the total to $813,000. What God has done before, He can do again!
To date $3.34 million has been raised. We are over halfway toward what is needed. God can do this through us and for us, ONE MIRACLE AT A TIME.
