Pastor’s Pen
Just read a devotional this morning from Bill Johnson that really fits in with what Holy Spirit has been speaking to us about at Grace. “Seeing the dirt in ourselves or in others does not require faith.”
It is so easy to get bogged down in the awareness of our own weaknesses. Many would call this humility, but it may be a very subtle form of pride, because the focus is on us not on God. It is easy to focus on who we are not, instead of Who God is.
Picking back up the devotional, “In your weakest state declare, ‘I Am Strong!’ Agree with God regardless of how you feel and discover the power of resurrection. Without faith it is impossible to please Him. The first place that faith must be exercised is in our own standing with God.”
Excited about Family Night, the launch of the School of Ministry and this coming weekend!
GOD IS SO GOOD!

Moms in Prayer International meets on Thursdays @ 8:10 at GF. We focus on an attribute of God and simply pray for our kids, and teachers. If you don’t feel comfortable praying out loud you don’t have to. Just come and agree in prayer.

Our last Find Your People will be October 23.
We would love to see you there.
