Pastors Pen
Countless times each day a mother does what no one else can do quite as well. Mom comforts and wipes away tears, she whispers a word of hope and eases a child’s fear. She teaches, ministers, loves and nurtures the next generation. She challenges and cheers her children to do the best and be the best, but with very little notice and very little thanks.
Phil Wisenhunt said, “The most important occupation on earth for a woman is to be a real mother to her children. Her role does not have much glory to it; there is a lot of grit and grime. But there is no greater place of ministry, position, or power than that of a mother.”
This weekend we are going to celebrate Mother’s Day! I can’t wait to let each lady know how important they are to Grace Fellowship, to their family, and to God.
Stephanie Berglund will be sharing a special word the Lord has laid on her heart, it will be a great weekend!
Relocation Update:
Our present Building Fund is $117,818. Thank you, Lord, for blessing each of us with Your goodness.
Our Building Committee is gathering information for Dale Buckingham, our architect, that an artist rendition of what a new building on the Cemetery Creek Campus will look like.
We are completing an engineer’s survey of the lot lines on our present property for a lot line adjustment between the Brown House and the Church Building. A lot adjustment will allow for flexibility for the Brown House to be sold separately from the Church Building. (Remember sale of property will come before the church members for a vote.)
