Pastor’s Pen
In the last 10 months, there have been so many miracles and reports of God’s provision through sacrifice and they keep coming in. As a family we do not take any of this for granted, we approach it with the weightiness that “to whom much is given, much is required.”
We approach this season with gratitude that God provides through willing hearts. All of this is one step closer to relocation.
As we step into the precipice of 2023, one of the things on my heart is that we, the Grace family, do not lose sight of our purpose and calling. As excited as we are about a new building, it is not our calling, it is simply a means to an end…a space to do what is important. Our purpose is to “Equip for Life” and our calling is to reach people for Jesus.
I want to encourage us to think toward harvest, to think toward praying and sharing with those without the hope of Jesus in their hearts. To seek to love all of those around us and in our circles of influence act with kindness and compassion. It is our calling, to bring peace and the blessing of salvation to a confused and lost world, both here in Buffalo and around the world.
I love you and am proud of you and so glad to be your pastor.
See you this weekend as we continue our series “Broken Emotions”!
Bring a friend.
