Pastor’s Pen
The poorest person in the world is not the person who doesn’t have a nickel. The poorest person in the world is the one who doesn’t have a vision. If you don’t have a dream– a goal and a purpose in life — you are never going to become what you could become.
Where would we be today without people of vision?
Above my head is a bright electric light, Thanks, Edison!
On my nose are eyeglasses that enable me to focus, Thanks, Franklin!
In the parking lot is a car that got you where you were going today, Thanks, Ford!
Across my shelves are books full of interesting and carefully-researched concepts, Thanks, authors!
Flashing through my mind are ideas, stimulating thoughts, and creative skills, Thanks, teachers!
It all starts with people with a vision and then a commitment to do something about it.
When Disney World first opened, Mrs. Walt Disney was asked to speak at the Grand Opening since Walt had died. She was introduced by a man who said, “Mrs. Disney, I just wish Walt could have seen this.” She stood up and said, “He did,” and sat down.
Do you have any idea what you could accomplish with God’s help? Perhaps a little holy dissatisfaction is a place to start with the prayer, “God help me be who it is I can be through your power.
I am so excited about the vision God has given us at Grace Fellowship for this next year. I will be awesome as we walk step by step with the Lord.
Can’t wait to worship with you this weekend.
Family Night
No Family Night on January 5.
We look forward to seeing you on January 12 @ 5:30 for a meal and at @6:30 for small groups for everyone.
Seed Offering Report
69,190 seeds of faith were planted this last weekend, with more to come (it’s not too late to plant). So $69,190 is added to our Building Fund of $394,101. Making a total of $389,963. This is a great start after the land purchase is complete. Most of all be in prayer for the Lord’s plan and His aiming.
