Pastor’s Pen
There are a lot of wonderful things happening and I want to mention some of them here so that we as a church can agree together in prayer. When the Holy Spirit was given, it was not an accident that the church was in one accord (See Acts 1:14 and Acts 2:1). This spirit of agreement in Acts 2:46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart.
We are humbled that for eleven weeks in a row people have given their hearts to Jesus. We celebrate with the angels of heaven, but harvest always has to be stewarded. Would you join me in praying that God would protect the seed that has been planted and germinated in these individuals? We will be having a New Believer’s Class at 3:45 on Saturday, May 15. Pray as to whether the Lord would have you take one of these new believers under your wing of care and discipleship.
On May 15 and 16 we will also be celebrating Believer’s Baptism again! This is an opportunity for new believers (disciples) to step into the waters of baptism and give testimony.
This Friday, April 30 through Sunday, May 2, a team of 5 individuals will be going to Syracuse Kansas to share with the people there an Equip Intercessors weekend. Let’s be in prayer that God will be poured out mightily in Syracuse.
I will be meeting with some of our online congregation in Montrose CO on May 3 and Phoenix AZ area on May 20 seeking to encourage these believers who are a part of GF online.
Let’s continue to pray for our Feasibility Team as they look for potential places to present to the Elders and Congregation for the future location of Grace Fellowship.
For Marlyce and me it is amazing to serve as your Pastors! Grace Fellowship is truly an amazing place serving an amazing God.
Blessings on your week!
