Grace Happenings | April 14

Pastor’s Pen

Just as the star of Bethlehem announced to the shepherds and wisemen that a major event has taken place – the birth of Jesus. On December 8, 2020, the two largest planets aligned to form what looked like a huge star. Saturn, named in agriculture as the sickle planet, came into alignment with Jupiter, the king planet, to usher in the season of the King’s harvest.

There are over 70 verses in Scripture that speak of sowing and reaping and harvesting. Make no mistake, these are days of revival and a great ingathering of souls in the Kingdom of God. The Bible foretells that they may be a falling away of religious individuals but an ingathering of people who are being transformed by the Spirit of Jesus.

For the church these are preparation days to sow into good soil but also  to lift up our heads and see the fields are ready for harvest. Here are some Scriptures to consider:

Matthew 24:14

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Mark 4:26-29

He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”

Psalm 126:6 (TPT)

They may weep as they go out carrying their seed to sow, but they will return with joyful laughter and shouting with gladness as they bring back armloads of blessing and a harvest overflowing!

I would like to encourage you to attend Equip Harvest this Friday evening beginning at 6.30pm – Pastor Dave Limmer from 307 Prayer will be with us. On Saturday morning from 9am to 11:45am there will be four seminars offered on how each of us can become equipped in sowing and harvesting. You can register HERE.

Can’t wait to see you there!
