I’ve told the story of how a few years back I was pumping gas into my truck, and as I looked at the reflection in the back window of my truck, I saw an image that was the spitting image of my dad. It was weird seeing my dad in the glass, but it wasn’t my dad—it was me.
I remembered that moment this morning as I read 2 Corinthians 3:18. The Amplified translates it this way:
“And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.”
When I was born again, my spirit was restored into the likeness of Jesus. So, when I am refueling for the day and gaze into God’s Word, what reflects back isn’t my looks or my image, but the image of Jesus. This verse indicates that as I keep looking day after day at this reflected image, it increases with ever-increasing splendor—from one degree of glory to another.
Wow, what an image.

Building Update
The construction trailer has been moved on to the property.
The gas line has been moved.
Waiting on Barnum Excavating to complete main street so they have the manpower and equipment to start digging the pad on the new property.
The bids are all in and the final price for our utilities, excavating, and completed building is $6,516,838.
We stand ready to see the miracle!
